I cheated, and bought a metric ton of these from Miniature Market a few months ago in anticipation of DM's arrival:Micro Arts Pipeworks
These minis are disturbingly easy to pop off of the bases, so rebasing them has been a dream. The problem I've run into is that many of the sculpts have big flat bottoms that don't fit well on scenic bases, so I'm having to pivot on some of them.
I do love the idea of standing water, so I'm going to build a lot of those flatter-bottomed monsters into recessed bases filled with resin.
Thanks for the post OP - thrilled to have a place to see everyone's ideas! I'll share some examples when I have a few finished. This game screams for scenic bases!
