It says in the rules that you can cast a spell over several turns or increase the power of the spell over several turns before casting it.
What happens if the wizard is attacked during the casting over several turns does it interrupt the spell so it is lost and what are the effects on Mana ?
Does the wizard have to be hit and take damage to stop the spell casting or just attacked to stop the spell being cast
Could not find anything on this in the rules

Hello Mark....I have not been able to find any guidance on this topic in the rulebook. Personally, I play it that if the Wizard is targeted for attack prior to casting the spell, their concentration is interrupted and they cannot cast the spell. No mana is consumed, but any actions spent on Focus or Increase Power are basically lost. I find that this adds some strategy and tension to the game. The party has to protect a Wizard that is preparing to cast and the Wizard must decide how far they will push their luck to increase the chance for successful casting or increased power.

The only suggestion that I can make from the rulebook is perhaps you could model a solution from the information for a Warrior Priest.
Rulebook page 80 'Prayers': Interruption
A priest that is either stunned, falls over, reaches 0 HP, or fails a Terror Test, stops chanting and the prayer is cancelled.

Good luck and Happy Dungeoneering!!!
