Neither of those plot cards make it Summer or Winter - they simply describe an effect that occurs if it happens to be Summer or Winter (usually caused by a Raven being in play).Also, your plot deck must have 7 cards and only ONE of each individual plot. There are exceptions (see the Power of Blood, for example), but they will always be specified on the card.
