While the Great Old Ones enjoy some quality time with their kids spawn, the lower ranks are worried for their jobs ...
Thousands march in protest against new sculpts
Thousands of Acolyte Cultists gathered in the vicinity of 47° 9' S, 126° 43' W today to demonstrate against plans to replace them with less homogenous employees. The protest was organised by the Gate Workers Union of Earht, Yuggoth and the Dreamlands. Demonstrators met in R'lyeh, before marching past Dunwich, where some of the replacement employees are believed to live, and on to the Plateau of Leng.
"We have rites, too", a spokesperson of the Gate Workers Union explained. "We're marching against management decisions committed to pure Bling and the Cult of the New. We should have recognised the occasional appearance of so-called High Priests as a warning that our jobs are endangered, but those fellows usually disappeared as quickly as they came."
One protester added that "frenzy" had motivated her to join the march. "However", she added, "we don't want this campaign to devolve into violence. There has been enough blood sacrifice in our ranks."
Great Old Ones and Outer Gods did not want to comment on the protest.
