Campaign is the way to go. Your decisions have long term effects and there is a feel of progression. I think you should play with the same persons.

The playing time for the quests seems to be perfect and wants you to play two quests in a row. Single quests are kinda lame with couple basic skills&items and somewhat generic OL deck. The stories of the quests have been great so far, it's easy to get into the theme and most of the things make sense.

Some typical FFG rule confusion is involved but nothing major.

Epic play might be an option but I don't see this game as a "pull-out-of-the-bag-in-any-place" type of game. I don't see the payout as that great playing with random people and single quests. I'd rather play the campaign with a dedicated group, get more involved in the game and invest enough time for each session.

Campaign system has certainly lived up to its hype, single quests not that much, even though they are still good.
