The gameboards were printed locally in Nottingham, and, I'm assured, are approx 25% darker than what the backers will receive (though some people who have seen the dark-printed boards firsthand, prefer them).Some prototypes were also printed in Sheffield, and they are a lot brighter. This may be because some were printed on Foamex, but I'm not completely sure about that.
In summary, we will have multiple proof copies from China, beforehand, and will press "launch" on the best possible version.
