Well, this is my first experience with ordering directly from PHG. I don't have my game yet & don't know when to expect it. And I'm VERY HAPPY with my experience. I ordered from the booth at Gencon.
I appreciate the opportunity to play the demo at Gencon before I spent. My game money is tight and I have to limit myself to games that will get played with family.
I appreciate the discount for pre-ordering. $75+shipping is a lot of money. $50+shipping is a sweet deal.
I appreciate the communication we've had from Plaid Hat. There have been updates on BGG as often as they knew stuff, and it seems that anyone who wrote them directly got a prompt answer.
PHG seems to have a legitimate beef with their new fulfillment company, and I don't see any reasonable way they could have foreseen that. Nor could they have foreseen that they'd get picked for special treatment at customs.
This is not the first game I've pre-ordered. EVERY game I've pre-ordered has had a certain amount of sturm und drang around delays. It happens. It hasn't lessened my enjoyment of Battlelore or Agricola over the years that I had to wait awhile to get them when they first came out, and I don't anticipate it being any different for Mice & Mystics.
Besides, I think my six year old has learned more about patience from this than he has waiting for Santa
Thanks, PHG, looking forward to a great game, and just ignore the negativity.

Thanks Denise. I had a quick peek. Your game is due to arrive before the end of the day tomorrow.
