Interesting question (altough kind of off-topic): Is push really targeted if it's not part of an attack? I thought Isaac said that only attacks and abilities that say "target" are targeted. If it is not, does it mean, you can push invisible characters / monsters?
It depends!
If an ability says "push all adjacent enemies" then yes, it will affect adjacent invisible enemies, same as if it said "all adjacent enemies suffer 1 damage". If its said "push an enemy within range 3" then it's a targeted ability (as you know by the range).
