Spirit Island has way better price to play ratio, if you ask me (and if that's even a consideration). Mansions of Madness can be expensive and its scenarios, while they may play out with some variation, can only be played so many times before it gets repetitive. Spirit Island has loads of play options and will take a long, long time to feel stale. And at the point it does feel stale or predictable, add Branch and Claw to the mix and it will feel like an entirely new game.In my mind, the only strong consideration for Mansions of Madness is if you really like a heavily thematic experience and Spirit Island would feel too much like a rote plastic-pushing experience.
