In subsequent adventures they are shuffled into the deck where they may be prepared and then removed in the same way. After I get my once per adventure use out of a title card, I will place it face down in the title card slot. This keeps me from shuffling it back in accidentally during a game and then reminds me to shuffle it in for the next adventure. YMMV.
