The better precedent would be the Descent 1E expansions. For those, FFG released them about a year apart. I'd rather wait for a decent, full expansion with well playtested scenarios than have quicker PoD expansions. Given the production delays with the base 2E, we might see an announcement at GenCon for an expansion, given that 2E was announced at GenCon last year.
