With a larger cardpool they all develop alternative approaches, yes. Though I'd say you don't need to maintain say both an Orc rush and an Orc control deck. Just have one Orc deck and exchange some of the cards to take it in a new direction when you want to try something different.
So I'd say just keep the extra Warpstone Excavations, Contested Villages, and Burn It Downs (optionally Pilgrimage too), and auction off the rest of the fourth core set. The buyer will be disappointed if he ever wants to build competitive decks and finds he is missing those, but it's not a problem for casual play, and with all those extras from the other sets it should be a good way to check out the game and already have deckbuilding options.
