Appears to be so from the cards. I believe Tullius is one of the playable houses, and I'm pretty sure I saw a Gannicus card. Also, Ashur and Onnemeus (whose name I've almost certainly misspelled) are gladiators, which is more reflective of the prequel. It basically appears to be a mash up of season 1 and the prequel with images of anyone who has since been recast (Naevea and Spartacus :( ) replaced with their season 2 actors.
