So I agree that the attacks are not optional, and you cleared up that you can use final stand without close and personal if there are no valid targets. However, does this mean that if, when final stand is triggered, there is a valid space to move to that would allow close and personal, Biv must move there? I would assume not and that the necessity to perform close and personal only means that after moving to wherever, if there’s a valid target it must be performed.

Thanks Clipper for the input. I agree with your interpretation, but I assume there’s nothing official to back it up?

[o] Bespin spoilers:
[o]This was the difference between the rebels winning or losing the campaign. It was an epic final few activations with Vader withdrawing Shyla carrying the data (who would have escaped no problem on the very next activation) and almost withdrawing Biv but leaving him on 4 health. Biv then picked up the dropped data and used final stand which just allowed him to get next to the exit. It felt so incredibly thematic (‘final stand’) and with Vader watching him escape that I was happy to rule on the spot that it was all possible. It did leave me curious though, for next time it comes up![/o][/o]
