Thanks, I'm thinking of buying the new edition and am curious how the gameplay goes.

1. How did the 'trap' succeed? The baiter lost troops and got nothing, whereas the baited faction lost troops but got the spice.

2. The progression seemed pretty straightforward, no surprises. Where was the fun in this play?
